Junior Golf Program

The Vines Resort & Country Club and MTI Golf Academy have combined to promote the game of golf to children in the local community. The aim of the Junior Development Program is to provide practice, skill testing and on-course play designed to give juniors the necessary knowledge and experience to become accomplished golfers. At our stunning Swan Valley location, Children are taught the fundamentals of a sport they can play for a lifetime.

As well as developing their golfing skills, they will learn etiquette, good sportsmanship and the social skills that the game of golf teaches. Just as important is the emphasis we place on safety and making golf fun to learn.

Entry level classes provide a perfect introduction to golf for children from the age of six years. Classes are conducted on Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoons, throughout the school term & school holiday workshops are offered.

Having participated in an entry level program, and having passed a number of skills tests, children are eligible to attend the Junior Development Squad. Squad sessions are held on Saturday afternoons throughout the school term. Following a warm-up session, children are taken onto one of the two Championship courses at The Vines Resort & Country Club for on-course play. Upon reaching the age of 12 years, children will be encouraged to join The Vines Golf & Country Club as Junior Members.

Courses can also be arranged for schools as part of their sporting curricula.
